(What's this? Another REVIVAL! But sadly, not with the grace of a god T.T) I sped up, wanting the cure to my doubled mind bad enough to almost collide with the small Gryphon.

(I am so sorry guys! ]X I forgot about this RP. ;-; ) Complete blackness taking over the second level. It didn’t took long and the torches on the walls lit up by themselves, revealing Michael ready to climb up the stairs again. “Come on, the time is running.” He said as he glanced over the group, waiting them all to arrive from the first level. (Let’s skip all those levels, because they are just too many and I don’t know what to describe about them. Besides, they are not important.)

“Come on, the time is running.” Mike said from the second level of the stairs. Polaryu flew, following the spiral of stairs, gliding past Mike, impatient to reach the top floor.

I took off with Polar, her obvious impatience affecting me. I just could not wait to get Dark OUT of my head, his silent rage was tearing at my mind, he didn't want to die, he didn't want to be in my mind with me, there has to be a solution to this mental conflict. NO NO NO!!! He screamed at me, You wouldn't kill me! You can't! I AM YOU! His anger was strong, but for some odd reason, he could not take control of my body, was my excitement overcoming his anger?

After the long climbing on that spiral stairway, the group had finally arrived on the top. A wide window on the wall, providing a fantastic view of the entire The Plains, the dark horizon and the moonlight outside. The storm clouds from before now almost over the tower and covering the moon. Thunders could be heard and some tiny water drops began to hit the large glass. “One last stairway and we’ll be in the former laboratory. The top of the tower.” Michael said as he stood up next to a door. This door not being too big. Most like a human-sized door, but still big enough for a dragon a little bigger than Mike. Bigger dragons would have problems to go through this door but that would not be an impossible task. “Whatever you do, don’t touch on anything.” Michael warned as he opened the door. “Follow me.” He said as he walked in the opened door. Just a few steps more and Michael found himself in the so said former laboratory. A very wide round room. The only window was circulating the entire room in a 360º angle (check the images from the previous posts to know how it looks like), proving a even more stunning view of the entire land. Tables, desks, rustic laboratory equipments, book shelves with many books, wizard stuff and many other things you can find in the laboratory of a wizard/scientist from the middle age. Though, it seemed to be abandoned for centuries. The room completely lit up but no torches around. Just a few lit candles but not enough to provide such intense light. Michael sighed. A sad sigh. His eyes expressing longing as he looked at all of that. In the middle of the room, lying on a soft purple pillow, a golden amulet. The moonlight hitting it from above. A small hole closed by a hard glass in the ceiling right above the gold piece. The moon’s light passing through it. “There it is.” Michael said as he stared at the Amulet, shining with the light. (w00t! They finally arrived there!)

{YEY! \o/}
She finally reached the top chamber. A huge window adorned the wall, little tear drops staining its clear surface. A rainfall has begun. Polaryu sat down in front of the glass, staring at the dark, cloudy sky. It seemed the rain clouds had finally obscured the moon. That was it... it wouldn't be to long befoe she was home once again. How would she explain everything to the folks back there? Telling that she was carried here by a strong gust would be far too embarrassing...
“One last stairway and we’ll be in the former laboratory. The top of the tower.”. The sudden voice made Polaryu jump a bit, but as she looked behind herself, she saw Michael there. Caught midst a deluge of thoughts, the dragoness hadn't even noticed that the others had already arrived up there. "More stairs?" she asked, sighing. "There sure are a lot of them here. No wonder this Tower seems so tall from outside.". But it would be worth it... they were almost in the very top of the building. Almost home... she could almost feel the fresh cold breeze of the surroundings of her chamber. She could almost see all her friends in front of her. She could almost taste the meat of the huge bull she was going to hunt as soon as she arrived there...
Mike was near a big door. Polaryu followed him, stopping right by his side. “Whatever you do, don’t touch anything.” Her legs wobbled due to the excitement. She was so freaking anxious, it couldn’t be uttered by simple words. “Follow me.” The door opened. And the sight in front of her had to be one of the most stunning things she had seen ever. Indeed, Braveheart was by no means joking when he said this was a former laboratory. It did have all the aspects of one, a deserted one, but a laboratory nonetheless... rudimentary tools, bookshelves, desks... everything that could be stored in a huge circular room. There were no solid walls; in their place, stood a crystal clear glass, which provided a marvelous view of the Plains. Droplets of water decorated the glass, for it was still raining. There were only a few candles illuminating the ex-lab.
Stunned, the icy dragoness stood there, motionless, her mouth agape. That was just incredible. “Wow... it’s... it’s beautiful!” she managed to say, trotting toward the glass and stopping in front of it. From where she was, she could view nothing but the good old Plains, and a single tree, abandoned and solitary. No wonder she couldn’t find any trees around before. She could also see the entrance to the village. A few crows flew by the window. Despite the soft rain ruining a bit the image on the window, her keen eyesight could spot barely everything down there. “Stunning. Just stunning.” she whispered to herself.
Mike seemed to sigh... a melancholic sound. But why? This probably had something to do with his past... of course, Polaryu wouldn’t ask anything. She didn’t want to see a sad friend. This same dragon walked toward a pedestal in the middle of the room. There was a golden amulet on its top, the moonlight shining on its polished surface from a skylight above, covered by a thick glass. “There it is.” the Guardian said.
Polar barely hopped toward the medallion, staring intently at the shiny golden piece of metal. “Well!? What are we waitin’ for? Harness its power already, c’mon!” she exclaimed, too peppy-sounding comparing to her common self, staring at the dragon with glittering gold eyes, a toothy grin on her muzzle. She couldn’t wait to be home.

The hatchling followed everyone the stairs, keeping pace with the bigger dragons by gliding. As they arrived on the top floor the hatchling heeded Michaels warning about touching anything, but he still stared at the interesting instruments curiously. He then diverted his attention to the small cushion which held the amulet and it's silver sparkles captivated his attention. The hatchling didn't bother to speak as there was not much to be said, but he still explored this wonderous room every bit of it interesting to the young one.

The beginning or the end? I thought, Dark was still raging, but he was becoming... exhausted somehow. And the only thing he could think was, I didn't get to live. His thoughts rang inside my head, the thoughts of a dead being. I felt, unusual. I couldn't focus on anything but that last stairway that Michael had addressed, and we understood blindly. Was this, pity? Remorse? What had I done? I sentenced a being to death, that is what I did, but this being was me, an evil me. Evil deserved to die right? Wrong, every being has a right to live, even if they comitted horrible acts. But Dark... this has to be the right thing to do. I started up the stairs, behind everyone else. It wasn't. The right thing to do was punish him, not kill him. But death is a punishment. For the worst, what had Dark done to deserve death? Nothing. I stopped in the room, hearing, but not hearing. I suddenly came back to the world. Polar speaking, but taking a bit to get into my head, “Well!? What are we waitin’ for? Harness its power already, c’mon!” And Dark sobbed, mentally.

“Wow... it’s... it’s beautiful!” The ice dragoness said as she trotted toward the glass, stopping in front of it. Outside… The vision of the entire Valley of Grace. A few crows flying by the window and rain drops making it wet. “Stunning. Just stunning.” Polaryu whispered. "You should see it from Delphinea." Michael said in a low tone, keeping his attention on the Amulet. The others seemed to be kinda amazed by the content of the room. Michael though, held a sad expression. Polaryu hopped toward the Amulet, staring at the golden piece of metal. “Well!? What are we waitin’ for? Harness its power already, c’mon!” She exclaimed. Michael shook his head slightly at her voice and looked at her. “What? Oh, of course!” Michael replied. His voice sounding distant as he removed the silver medallion from his neck. “Please I must to request that you all take some distance.” Michael said to the group, keeping his glare fixed on the golden amulet. Once everybody was distant enough, Michael held the silver piece on the palm of his right paw and placed it over the golden one. A bright shine came out from the two medallions once they touched. Michael placed his right paw over the two metal pieces and closed his eyes. Both, dragon and medallions began to glow brightly. A light raw raised from Mike’s paw and gone upwards as a pillar, following the light of the moon and ‘escaping’ to outside the tower. From outside the tower, a light ray could be seen heading to the sky. “Wisdom.” Michael said to himself. “Goodness. Loyalty. Courage.” He continued. At every word that came out from the dragon’s maw, a blue energy swirl floated around him then gone into the medallions. “Heeh, heeh, heeh… It’s neeear..!” A creepy deep voice spoke in a low tone. Though somehow only the group could hear it. “Vth re gocahel loupon vi owier, yth re ir.” He finished. The glowing and lighting dimming until it all returned to normal. Though… Once the whatever Michael did was finished, the bright light in the room dimmed as well, remaining only the candles to illuminate the place. So the laboratory become dark. Michael put his paw back on the floor and stared at the medallions for a moment. They were no longer two metal pieces but one. The very same shape and inscriptions, but now, the borders were golden and the inner silver. The image of the dragon wings golden and so the triangle in the middle. “It is done.” Michael said to himself, aloud enough for the others to hear. His voice sounding serious. He picked up the Amulet in his right paw and turned up to the group. “I made two promises here today. It is time to make them come true.” The guardian said as he glanced toward Polaryu and Aryth. “Ms. Polaryu. Dragon Aryth. Come closer please.” Michael called the two dragon. One expecting to go home. The other expecting to be only one.

Once Polaryu spoke to Michael, he shook his head, as if bringing his consciousness back to to Earth. “What? Oh, of course!” he said, his voice sounding distant. He took the silver medallion around his neck in his paw. “Please, I must request that you all take some distance.” he requested. The icy dragoness gave several steps back, sitting down once she thought the distance was far enough. She was so eager to know what would go on now, that her legs were even wobbling slightly. How she longed for that moment!
The Guardian went toward the golden piece and touched it with the silver medallion. Both the two metal objects and Mike begun exhibit a bright glow, hich made the dragoness turn her eyes away from the scene. A pillar of light ascended from Mike's paw and made its way to the outside of the Tower, from the window that was located on the ceiling. It made way to the moon... so that's why this had to be done at night, uh?
“Wisdom.” Michael said to himself. A blue energy came from him and swirled in midair, finally resting as soon as it merged itself to the medallions. “Goodness. Loyalty. Courage.”. Each word uttered made a new blue energy merge with the medallions. What would happen now? Would a portal open? "Heeh, heeh, heeh… It’s neeear..!”. Wait, what!? Where did that come from? The dragoness looked around herself, trying to locate the source of the voice, but couldn't find anything. That had been the same voice she had heard outside, coming from the Tower... that couldn't be good.
“Vth re gocahel loupon vi owier, yth re ir.”. The light's glow begun dimming until it finally vanished. The room was once again dark, except for the soft liht of the flames of th candles crepitating on the corners, and te moonlight invading the place from the windows. Michael got back to his common stance, staring at the medallions for a moment. It seemed they had merged... it was only one medallion now, with both silver and gold on it.
“It is done.” he said seriously. Polar's head cocked a bit to th side, her eyebrows furrowing. What was done? Nothing happened other than the fusion of the metal pieces...
The lizard-like reptile turned to the group then. “I made two promises here today. It is time to make them come true.”. He glanced both as Polar and at... Aryth? Wait, what? What promise was made to him? “Ms. Polaryu. Dragon Aryth. Come closer please.”. Now wasn't the ime to question about that, though. "Wait. Mike, wait." she said, stepping cloer to him and sitting down in front of him, next to Aryth. "While you were reciting that spell... I heard a voice. Didn't you hear it too?" she asked. "It was the same voice I heard outside the Tower. It said 'it is near'.". She stared seriously at Braveheart. "... what the heck is that voice? I don't trust it one bit.". Not that was easy to gain her trust... but that voice was too suspicious. Little did she know that the others had also heard it.
